Let the PvP Begin!

I...I was in a winning battleground tonight. I can't even speak right now, I'm so surprised. I'd like to thank the priest healing and the druid flag carrying. Also, special mention goes to the Undead DK who I spent as much spare time as I could on. Mainly to make him penguin and giggle at him, after he and his friends (3 of them) nuked me, then laughed at my poor lil ungeared gnomie. I got creative. Penguin from the room, penguin from invisible, penguin from a doorway. And a little giggle following each. He did do a /spit on me in the end. Achievement earned! Warsong Gulch Victory and piss off a DK. I missed PvP so much! MOAR PvP TIME!

Timeless Isle: Pretty But Dull

Well, we got the new patch. And I love how Timeless Isle looks. But I'm avoiding it like the plague. It's just way too crowded to even consider doing anything there at the moment. Aside from the epic lag, tagging anything to kill is a nightmare. So, I've been busy doing other things. Like pet battles. So I could have all the pets I sent back from my old account. There was one giant fail though. After spending 3 days solid levelling a Hyjal Bear Cub that was on loan, I sent it back to it's owner before I put my own level 25's into my journal. So, I had to go find a Pandaria pet and level that to 25 instead. Which was a massive pain in the butt. I'm sure we all know the awesomeness of Hyjal Bear Cub (or Pooh Bear). Bandicoons just don't compare. Cue lots of pet deaths and crying over my tea. I got there in the end though and now I have my super cute pets back with me!

While I was in the mood for all things pets, I heard tales of a Timeless Isle pet. This evening I went back. Ice Lanced a Highland Albatross and flew around in it's mouth for a while.

The flight is long and uncomfortable. 4 minutes or so to get there, then kill the Albatross and Slow Fall into the lake. That worked well the first two times. However, shortly before I decided to write this entry, something ridiculous happened that had me screaming at the screen until I rage quitted the game for the evening. I was happily flying in the Albatross' mouth, reading some guides and plotting my farming/RF/PvP plans for the next week, when the lake was in sight. I started to kill the Albatross, when this happened:

Don't think so, Pedro. I'll kill you too.
I almost killed the first, when another plucked me out of it's mouth and started to carry me away. So, I thought, ok, lets kill this one too. Then this happened:

Hey! Put me down! I call shenanigans!
See the Albatross behind mine? This one pulled me out of the clutches of the one I was in and tried to carry me away. This happened 4 times in total. By which time I was so enraged that I rage quit, mid air. Is this a common occurance? Or does this crap only happen to me? A bloody Albatross relay race, using me as the baton! Anyone giggling, shhh :P I will go back, but for the moment it isn't safe for my PC screen for me to go.

Oh, and Little Tommy, all sweet and 'come and battle me'. Screw you, and your Lil Oondasta too. You troll. Proper fell for that one didn't I. Remember, kids. Read some guides before accepting pet battles from a not so sweet little boy and his big ass dinosaur.

Stronger, Harder, Better, Faster

I have been a busy little gnome lately. Busy with many things to prepare for the new patch. Which is today! /cheer! Being the organised little gnome I am, I even worked from a list on the things I needed to do. The list was almost completed, even though it was a bit ambitious. But I've put all my efforts into being ready. Ready to kick ass on Timeless Isle!

I'm also a business gnomie now. I have a few friends who have become enablers for my AH addiction. If I don't AH or PvP for so long, I begin to suffer withdrawl symptoms. Sweats, shakes, increased rage that can only be cured by extreme PvP sessions... I like to kill hordies and make goldsies.

I had got to an impasse a few weeks ago, where I didn't really know what to do with myself ingame. This has been cured thanks to two friends in particular, who gave me the hugest surprise ever. One that they worked very, very, hard to make possible. The best part of the surprise was that they have given me a new drive for things in game. As mentioned above, I like to PvP and AH and that's really about it....before now. But now I find myself doing things that I previously wasn't too interested in. Like titles, achievements and collecting pets. My 'stupid o'clock' sessions have been filled with hunting rares and I almost have the 'Glorious' achievement now. It's given me a great sense of satisfaction to find a rare on the list that I didn't have, sad though that may sound! And I'm exclusively PvE at the moment, although I hope to PvP in the new patch. And as soon as I'm geared up in this patch, I will be going after some of the old achievements. Loremaster is on my list, though it will take forever! I'm looking forward to it though, to explore all the areas that I missed the first time around. Which is most places, as I levelled through PvP. And I'm a lazy mage. So, really what they gave me is a gift that just keeps on giving. And for that, I am very thankful. To have such considerate and thoughtful friends.

Slutty Dwarf! I call it!

Time for patch 5.4, right now! Till later!
