Stone Dragons Guild
I was sent here by my good friend, Icklegem. She told me you guys were the people to come to for help. I need a few of you to help me to find my crazy, old grandma. She's been missing a few days now. The last that anyone heard she had gone to Karazhan to find a ring that was stolen from her. No one has heard anything since and I am very, very worried. We have had trouble from the Big Bad Wolf in the past and I fear he might have gone there after her. She's pretty senile now and easily confused, so she might be easily tricked by him.
I am too afraid to go there alone. Especially around this time of year. I hear that it's a bad place. One tale tells of a huge dragon that once ate a gnome whole. It makes me very nervous. So please, meet me there if you can and help me find my dear old granny. I'll be waiting.

Totally a Pink Goblin!
I got a new mog! A pretty, pink, girly, pirate mog. Yes, I have a wicked eye patch! But I really feel like I might have to get Visage of the Destroyer to complete the look. For now though, I'll have to manage with my Warpstaff of Arcanum. Until I can stop being lazy and do DS HC again.
And my awesomely cute living frost bolt. Poor elemental is feeling a little left out now I have an Ominous Flame by my side at all times. Because it's just the best mage pet ever! A perfect match for my Frostfire Bolt. I'm not a pet collector, but I just had to have this one. Even though he gets in my face all the time. Seriously, I'm trying to concentrate and not stand in crap and there he is, in front of me, trying to stare me out. And oh! My Jademist Dancer to match my PvP mog! The two prettiest pets EVAH! I know, I'm such a girl...

Let the PvP Begin!
I...I was in a winning battleground tonight. I can't even speak right now, I'm so surprised. I'd like to thank the priest healing and the druid flag carrying. Also, special mention goes to the Undead DK who I spent as much spare time as I could on. Mainly to make him penguin and giggle at him, after he and his friends (3 of them) nuked me, then laughed at my poor lil ungeared gnomie. I got creative. Penguin from the room, penguin from invisible, penguin from a doorway. And a little giggle following each. He did do a /spit on me in the end. Achievement earned! Warsong Gulch Victory and piss off a DK. I missed PvP so much! MOAR PvP TIME!

Timeless Isle: Pretty But Dull
Well, we got the new patch. And I love how Timeless Isle looks. But I'm avoiding it like the plague. It's just way too crowded to even consider doing anything there at the moment. Aside from the epic lag, tagging anything to kill is a nightmare. So, I've been busy doing other things. Like pet battles. So I could have all the pets I sent back from my old account. There was one giant fail though. After spending 3 days solid levelling a Hyjal Bear Cub that was on loan, I sent it back to it's owner before I put my own level 25's into my journal. So, I had to go find a Pandaria pet and level that to 25 instead. Which was a massive pain in the butt. I'm sure we all know the awesomeness of Hyjal Bear Cub (or Pooh Bear). Bandicoons just don't compare. Cue lots of pet deaths and crying over my tea. I got there in the end though and now I have my super cute pets back with me!
While I was in the mood for all things pets, I heard tales of a Timeless Isle pet. This evening I went back. Ice Lanced a Highland Albatross and flew around in it's mouth for a while.
The flight is long and uncomfortable. 4 minutes or so to get there, then kill the Albatross and Slow Fall into the lake. That worked well the first two times. However, shortly before I decided to write this entry, something ridiculous happened that had me screaming at the screen until I rage quitted the game for the evening. I was happily flying in the Albatross' mouth, reading some guides and plotting my farming/RF/PvP plans for the next week, when the lake was in sight. I started to kill the Albatross, when this happened:
I almost killed the first, when another plucked me out of it's mouth and started to carry me away. So, I thought, ok, lets kill this one too. Then this happened:
See the Albatross behind mine? This one pulled me out of the clutches of the one I was in and tried to carry me away. This happened 4 times in total. By which time I was so enraged that I rage quit, mid air. Is this a common occurance? Or does this crap only happen to me? A bloody Albatross relay race, using me as the baton! Anyone giggling, shhh :P I will go back, but for the moment it isn't safe for my PC screen for me to go.
Oh, and Little Tommy, all sweet and 'come and battle me'. Screw you, and your Lil Oondasta too. You troll. Proper fell for that one didn't I. Remember, kids. Read some guides before accepting pet battles from a not so sweet little boy and his big ass dinosaur.

Stronger, Harder, Better, Faster
I have been a busy little gnome lately. Busy with many things to prepare for the new patch. Which is today! /cheer! Being the organised little gnome I am, I even worked from a list on the things I needed to do. The list was almost completed, even though it was a bit ambitious. But I've put all my efforts into being ready. Ready to kick ass on Timeless Isle!
I'm also a business gnomie now. I have a few friends who have become enablers for my AH addiction. If I don't AH or PvP for so long, I begin to suffer withdrawl symptoms. Sweats, shakes, increased rage that can only be cured by extreme PvP sessions... I like to kill hordies and make goldsies.
I had got to an impasse a few weeks ago, where I didn't really know what to do with myself ingame. This has been cured thanks to two friends in particular, who gave me the hugest surprise ever. One that they worked very, very, hard to make possible. The best part of the surprise was that they have given me a new drive for things in game. As mentioned above, I like to PvP and AH and that's really about it....before now. But now I find myself doing things that I previously wasn't too interested in. Like titles, achievements and collecting pets. My 'stupid o'clock' sessions have been filled with hunting rares and I almost have the 'Glorious' achievement now. It's given me a great sense of satisfaction to find a rare on the list that I didn't have, sad though that may sound! And I'm exclusively PvE at the moment, although I hope to PvP in the new patch. And as soon as I'm geared up in this patch, I will be going after some of the old achievements. Loremaster is on my list, though it will take forever! I'm looking forward to it though, to explore all the areas that I missed the first time around. Which is most places, as I levelled through PvP. And I'm a lazy mage. So, really what they gave me is a gift that just keeps on giving. And for that, I am very thankful. To have such considerate and thoughtful friends.

Time for patch 5.4, right now! Till later!

Kodak moments: Part 3
Here is a collection of things that have amused me lately:
More to follow soon. As soon as I sort out the million planking screenies! And soon I hope to document a very special guild event...
I spent a lot of time fishing for the Tiny Carp. After fishing up two Tiny Red Carp in less than an hour, plus the Squirtle mount, otherwise known as Sea Turtle, I decided to make a goal of fishing up all the others. I made 40 Ironpaw tokens from spending that long doing it, which I promptly spent on the Flippable Table. For rage filled moments like these:

Eat your heart out, Gordon Ramsey!
Shrine gatherings:

Sons of Anarchy, Pandaren Chapter
Making Golds in Goldshire...or just making people throw up:

C'mon! Everyone wants to see a gnome in bunny ears dance on a bannister in a bar? Right?
Fishing next to a Tauren??

I smell burgers! Quick, get the BBQ out!

Hello there, Strangers
Hello there! Remember me? It's been a while since I was here. Things have been very busy. Lots of things have happened since my last post! I levelled up to the grand old age of 32! I know, so old. My guild friends gave me the most awesome gifts and party ever! Killing Horde at Shrine of the Two Moons? Genius idea! Lots of deaths ensued, mainly mine, but lots of fun! Just the best party anyone could think of for me!
I tried my hand at raiding, though sadly, still a nub! I'm hoping though to try some more before the new patch drops. Once I figure out my DPS rotation. Frost Bomb apparently is no good but I just cannot get used to using Living Bomb. It just doesn't feel right. And I totally buggered up my reforge. So now I do a lot less DPS and I still stand in bad shit. I was going to get the GTFO addon yesterday but I consider it part of my charm, though many I'm sure would disagree.
My favourite thing to do lately are the Barrens quests. They remind me a lot of Stonehearth for the big, fast spawning mobs. And with the help of my little Lock bro, we can kill huuuuge mobs. Which is very satisfying indeed. Farming and Valor? Suits me fine and helps me actually cap my valor per week (which neeeever happened before!). I'm currently farming and saving mats for when the next patch drops, so this goes a long way towards my tailoring and enchanting.
I finally got all 20 Secrets of the Empire and started the next stage of the quest. The solo scenario on Isle of Conquest. Which led to much frustration and comedy rants. As follows:
"This time I'll do it...Ok, I can do this...what the f**k, no, no, stop hitting me! Celestial Guardian, why do you let them hit me?? Noooooooo, don't kill the Blacksmith!!!"
Each wipe, there was a Skype mute to rant and curse, take a deep breath and try again. This continued for about an hour. And then I left the Scenario in a rage. Called Wrathion every bad name I could muster and drank tea until I calmed. Thanks to a few words of advice, I calmed down enough to do it from start to finish in one go! Now to farm those bloody runes...
And to my friends who are currently in NL on holiday, hope your time is wonderful! I am still utterly, utterly jealous! Especially of the Swedish cake!
